Special Bonus – Red Sky Morning

THE THEATRE ROYAL PRESENTS A RED STITCH THEATRE PRODUCTION

Written by a celebrated Tasmanian playwright and performed in the Theatre Royal Backspace, Tom Holloway’s award-winning Red Sky Morning is a very funny, very warm and ultimately heartbreaking play that explores identity, dislocation and the need to connect. Three separate monologues by a father, a mother and their teenage daughter are interwoven throughout the course of one life-changing day.

Red Sky Morning’s form is as intriguing as its content. The play continues Holloway’s trademark combination of linguistic experimentation with a robust Australian vernacular, pushing the boundaries of theatrical communication.
