Iain has been the Manager of Community Programs at the Tasmanian Theatre Company since 2008. He has worked in the theatre and entertainment industry for over thirty years, since graduating from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney in 1974.

He is well known in Tasmania as an actor and was producer of Theatre Alfresco in The Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens for 8 years.

Iain has worked as an actor, director, production manager and tour manager with companies such as Zootango Theatre Company, Terrapin Puppets, Salamanca Theatre Company, Theatre North, Mainstreet Theatre Company and Round Earth Theatre Company.

Working closely with a number of festivals and events he has created event specific performance programs over the past ten years. Before joining the TTC Team, Iain worked for five years as Regional Events Consultant with Totally South Tourism, advising festivals and community events throughout southern Tasmania.
